This operating system follows the release of iOS 26 for the iPhone. The update is already available for all Macs with Apple Silicon chips, as well as the 2019-2020 MacBook Pro, iMac 2020 and later models, and Mac Pro 2019+. For older devices, Apple has prepared macOS 15.7 and 14.8.
The key change is the Liquid Glass design with translucent elements that now extend to icons, folders, Dock, menus and toolbars. Users can change tex colours, add emoji and personalise Control Center.
Spotlight received an important update : now it allows you to create events, send messages and launch shortcuts without opening applications. Also new Apple Intelligence features have been integrated into the system, but they are not available in Ukraine yet.
Among other innovations – Phone App withsupport for calls via Continuity and spam filtering, new Apple Games App for managing the game library and a number of smaller improvements.
Recall, during the presentation on 9 September Apple presented 4 new smartphones. They were iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone Air. The last gadget is an absolute novelty in the segment of iPhones.
