The success of any journey is impossible without proper luggage preparation. In order to avoid unpleasant situations, it is worth thinking about the list of necessary things in advance.
List of things to take with you on a trip
1. Documents and money
This list includes: passport, insurance, tickets, travel voucher and driving licence (if you plan to rent a car). Be sure to make copies of your documents electronically. Photograph them or scan them and upload them to your phone.
You can take most of the money on a card, some cash in the currency of the country you are travelling to and some in the currency of your home country.
2. personal hygiene products
This list is different for everyone. But the standard is shampoo, soap, toilet paper, shower gel, toothbrush, deodorant, comb, perfume, wet and dry wipes, cosmetics, sunscreen, cotton discs and sticks, pads or tampons.
It’s also worth taking a towel, even if the hotel has one, you don’t know when it might come in handy.
3. Travel first aid kit
You should take antiseptics, allergy and insect bite remedies, painkillers, antibiotics, as well as medicines for stomach upsets, acute respiratory infections, medication for chronic illnesses, plasters and the like.
4 Clothing and footwear
List of clothes: underwear, swimsuit/swimwear, socks, a few changes of clothes (shorts, T-shirts, dress, sundress, breeches and a set of clothes in case of cold weather); shoes – should be comfortable: sneakers, trainers, crocs or flip-flops. Also do not forget about accessories.
5. gadgets
In most cases, a smartphone, a block and a charging cable will suffice. It’s great to have a paverbank. It will definitely come in handy when you are travelling. You can also take a laptop for work or watching films, headphones, a camera, a selfie stick.
6. entertainment
This is an indispensable attribute of any holiday. Make sure that your luggage contains exactly those entertainment items that will help to diversify your leisure time. These can be books, board games, cards, ball, badminton and the like.
7. things for children
If you plan to go on holiday with children, then a separate category of luggage is everything that is necessary for them. In particular, it is children’s clothes and shoes, their favourite toys, nappies and creams for babies, food and things for care.
Be aware that some things that are individually suited to a particular child may not be available at the holiday destination.
Most importantly, take a great mood on holiday. The holiday will not live up to expectations if you are worried about things forgotten at home. Many of the above lists can be bought locally, so sit back and relax!
