Ammunition and weapons have been found in Poland’s Podkarpackie province, the country’s Defence Ministry said on 4 June.
“We inform that containers with ammunition and weapons found in the town of Lyashki in Podkarpackie are not the property of the Polish army,” the ministry said in a statement.
The agency adds that the site and the discovered equipment are guarded by the relevant services.
Earlier, Polish media reported that in the town of Lyashki, Jaroslavl county of Poland, near the border with Ukraine, found containers with weapons and ammunition. Their origin is unknown and law enforcers are working at the site.
