Walpurgis Night rituals
- Sprinkle sand on the threshold of the house – it is believed that the witch will not be able to enter the flat until she counts all the grains of sand;

- collect medicinal herbs – many plants on this night acquire healing properties, you will be able to make a decoction from them;
- burn a note with negativity – write on paper everything that bothers you and burn it – troubles will go away by themselves.
The date from 30 April to 1 May is good for any cosmetological procedures. Women can make face masks, take baths, light aromatic candles and much more. Our great-grandmothers washed their faces with dew before dawn on 1 May – it was believed that this ritual prolongs youth and beauty.
Fortune-telling on Walpurgis Night
Given that this date is a great opportunity to communicate with the otherworld, girls can fortune-telling on their future.
On the groom and marriage
1. Going to bed on 30 April, ask the Supreme Forces to show you a fiancé. The one who will dream this night, and is your future husband.
2. Write on 12 leaves different male names, wrap each one in a tube and put it under your pillow. In the morning, take out a leaf at random. The name, which will be found, will be worn by your fiancé.
3. Take a photo of your favourite person, light a church candle. Look long into the picture, visualising the man. Then drop some wax on the photo and say: “Let the flame of the candle burn and ignite your feelings for me. Love me as I love you”. After that, hide the photo in a secluded place.

1. Choose an element to which you will address – earth or water. Then throw into the river or bury in the soil a piece of some food, better meat.
