Among the lots will be a jacket with tassels by Dries Van Noten, worn on screen by Streep’s character, Miranda Priestly. Also up for auction will be a feathered dress by Bad Binch TongTong, created by designer Terrence Zhou and worn by Lady Gaga in the film, as well as the signature blue jumper worn by Andy Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway.
The charity sale will also include other costumes, shoes, bags and items of clothing used during the filming of *The Devil Wears Prada 2*.
Strip has called on supporters to join the auction and support its charitable cause.
“Join us to celebrate truth and beauty, beauty and truth together! A spectacular global auction of shoes, handbags, evening gowns and glamorous experiences, entitled ‘The Devil Wears Prada’,”
’ said the actress.
All items up for sale will be on display during a free public exhibition at Christie’s New York from 8 to 13 September. On 10 September, the auction house will also host a cocktail party and a live charity auction.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” was released in April 2026, 20 years after the premiere of the first film. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci reprised their roles.
The film got off to a flying start at the global box office, grossing over $230 million in its opening weekend. Of this, $77 million came from the US and Canada, whilst the film earned a further $156.6 million on the international market.
The total worldwide box office takings for *The Devil Wears Prada 2* currently stand at $691 million.
