Nothing has released CMF Buds 2 with noise cancellation and up to 55 hours of run time

Nothing has unveiled its new CMF Buds 2 headphones, focusing on their unique charging case with an integrated Smart Dial control disc. This dial adjusts volume and controls music playback by default, but its settings can be changed via the Nothing X app, where you can also control noise cancellation, voice assistant and other features. The headphones support connecting up to two devices at the same time.

The CMF Buds 2 have 11mm PMI drivers with Ultra Bass 2.0 support. Bluetooth 5.4 allows wireless connection to two devices simultaneously. Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair support for quick connectivity.

The headphones feature Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 48dB, which is 6dB more than the previous model. They also have three microphones supporting Spatial Audio and Clear Voice Technology 3.0 and Wind-Noise Reduction 3.0 for clear voice even in noisy environments.

Battery life is up to 13.5 hours without noise cancellation and 7.5 hours with it. With the charging case, this increases to 55 hours without ANC and 26 hours with ANC. Fast charging gives up to 7.5 hours of playback in 10 minutes.

The headphones support low-latency mode for gaming, as well as AAC and SBC codecs, compatible with Android 6.0+ and iOS 13+. They are IP55 water and dust resistant, and the charging case is IPX2. The CMF Buds 2 are available in three colours and are priced at $59. The new Buds 2a and Buds 2 Plus models are scheduled to launch on 28 April.
