Ukrainian drones have attacked fuel storage facilities in the Russian city of Yaroslavl, the governor of Russia’s Yaroslavl Region, Mikhail Evraev, has said. According to his data, a fire broke out, there were no casualties.
Motor transport traffic was stopped for several hours at the exit from Yaroslavl towards Moscow. The city airport did not serve flights for more than four hours.
The oil refinery in Yaroslavl has already been raided by drones several times. The last time before this strike it happened on the night of 22 May.
The Ukrainian military has not yet commented on today’s strike.
The Russian Defence Ministry said that 208 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down last night over Russian territory, occupied Crimea and the Sea of Azov.
