The average salary of full-time workers in the European Union in 2024 was EUR39.8 thousand per year, up 5.2% from EUR37.8 thousand a year earlier, according to the EU Statistics Office.
The highest salaries were recorded in Luxembourg (EUR83,000), Denmark (EUR71,600) and Ireland (EUR61,100).
Meanwhile, the lowest incomes were recorded in Bulgaria (EUR15.4 thousand), Greece (EUR18 thousand) and Hungary (EUR18.5 thousand).
